Before and after, what it is and what it could be.

Before: Creative chaos

After: All in one place

After: All in one place

Today we consolidated a beading box and craft drawers together to all fit in just the box! This person makes all sorts of jewelry and wanted their kit accessible and complete. Honestly I think the chaotic before picture is so beautiful, but so is the feeling you get from functional storage! This took about an hour to complete, and cost 0$ in new organizing materials. We sorted one tackle box with three compartments and three small drawers of craft supplies.

Before: a disorderly desk disaster!

After: full yet functional

After: full yet functional

I love junk drawers. You can learn a lot about a person by what they keep in their junk drawer, everyone’s got one and the contents are always unique. In this instance, we took two junk drawers and combined them into one functional space. We did a lot of downsizing, (not pictured: $1000 in spare change, and several hundred screws and washers that found a new home) and used containers that were cluttering up a different space to bring order to this drawer. A little categorization can go a long way! this project took about two hours and we spent 0$ on new organizing supplies. We sorted two drawers and a file box full of office supplies.

More coming soon!
